Case Summary: Mrs. Savitri Devi, 60 yr old female presented to BGH on Jan 4, 2012 with new onset Atrial Fibrillation which was promptly converted to Sinus Rhythm with Amiodarone. There was no history of fever, weight loss etc.
Post-cardioversion clinical examination was unremarkable with Normal BP, no thyromegaly or tremor and normal biochemistry including Thyroid Function.
Her Echo showed normal chamber sizes, no valvular lesion, no shunt etc. However, there was a mass in Rt. Atrium attached to posterior wall near the marginal cusp attachment.
